Do you create websites at set prices?
Yes — in certain cases. A single‑page business website can be set up quickly for £250. Up to five pages is £499, and up to ten pages is £999. Monthly hosting is an additional £35. These fixed‑cost websites are built on WordPress and tailored precisely to your requirements.
For larger or more complex projects, including full E‑Commerce sites, it’s best to get in touch so we can discuss your needs in detail.
How long does it take to create a website?
It depends…. A single page website can take a day whereas a 10 page website can take 4-7 days. It also depends on the functionality required. Speak to me to talk through the options.
Do you also create logos and brochures?
Yes – I have over 25 years experience working with small to medium and global brands developing corporate literature, brochures and logo designs.
Where are you based?
I live 30 minutes away from Altrincham in Newton le Willows, a short hop along the M6. My family live in Altrincham and Hale.
Do you do all the creative work?
Yes – I am a hands on designer with years of experience. I also design and develop websites. Very much hands-on.
Do you setup and manage META and Google Ads?
Yes – I manage multiple campaigns and budgets for a variety of clients monthly. All creative is generated whether static imagery or animated with voiceovers. Headlines and descriptions applied that engage target audiences and prompt clicks. All of my paid ads clients generate new customers or leads from my ad campaign strategies every month.
How do I pay for META or Google Ads?
In most cases clients pay platforms directly via credit card. However, I have a client account and depending on spend, I can facilitate payments to platforms. Speak to me for more information on this.
Do you only work remotely?
No – I travel to client meetings or on occassion spend a day at clients office conducting workshops or overseeing photography.
Do you have accreditations in Digital Marketing?
Yes – I have certification from Google Digital Garage, Hubspot and I am a Shopify partner.
Can you explain your background in more detail?
I’ve spent my entire career in marketing and design. After leaving school and college in the 1980s, I began as an apprentice in a local design studio in Falkirk, Scotland. That early experience led me to two further design agencies in Glasgow before relocating to Altrincham in the mid‑90s.
My career progressed with a three‑year role at Deloittes Advertising and Marketing in Altrincham, followed by a move to PDP Momentum in Stockport in 1998.
At the start of 1998, I decided to go freelance. Over the next 15 years, that solo venture grew into the largest print and digital agency in South Manchester, employing 40 staff. After exiting the agency, I joined Peel L&P—initially as a graphic designer and later as Web Governance Manager. Following eight years at Peel L&P, I became Head of Marketing at TK Property Group, where I led the redesign of their logo and website.
I’m now back working independently, supporting my own clients with branding, design, and digital marketing.
Do you manage every part of a website build?
Yes – I look after every aspect from design, development through to launch and promotion.
Do you get involved with email marketing?
Yes – I have designed 1000’s of email campaigns for clients over the years and manage the distribution of campaigns as well as reporting. I use MailChimp and Klaviyo maily but can adapt to any system.
Once a website is launched do you make sure it is SEO optimised for Google?
Yes – I carefully construct websites to ensure they are SEO optimised and keyword rich. I have a number of tools available to help me ensure websites are crawled and indexed by major search engines.
Do you maintain pre-built client websites?
Yes – I have experience in multiple platforms including: WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Umbraco and Shopify. I currently maintain a number of client websites on their behalf. Updates consist of daily news stories, graphical updates, navigation updates or even adding new functionality.
Do you get involved with video editing?
Yes – I have edited many videos for clients. I also create animated sequences for META ads and reels. Everything I do is edited in Adobe Premier Pro and exported for use on any channel.
