Branding

I was commissioned by Riot of Colour, an online art, greeting card, and print retailer, to develop a refreshed brand identity and a new website.
The creative branding direction centred on expressing the brand’s name quite literally: a vivid, energetic collision of colour. I built the branding around a series of overlapping circular forms, each one translucent and bright, creating a dynamic spectrum where they intersect. This visual language captures the sense of movement, playfulness, and artistic spontaneity that defines the brand.

At the heart of the mark sits a handwritten logotype, deliberately crafted to feel personal and expressive, echoing the immediacy of an artist’s signature. The surrounding circles frame and elevate this signature, creating a cohesive system that works seamlessly across digital layouts, packaging, and product presentation.
